In this role, you will cover hospital-based operating rooms, managing an average of 50-60 surgical cases daily across neonatal to adult patients. The schedule runs Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with no call responsibilities. You will supervise CRNAs in a collaborative care team model, ensuring high standards of anesthesia care, while not responsible for preparing anesthesia carts. The position provides an excellent opportunity to showcase your expertise in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment.

Required Skills

• Valid medical license in Ohio and DEA certification
• Board certification or eligibility in Anesthesiology
• Proven experience in pediatric anesthesiology within a hospital setting
• Ability to supervise CRNAs in a team-based care model
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and efficiently in high-volume surgical environments

Nice to Have Skills

• Experience in trauma or Level 1 trauma centers
• Familiarity with pediatric pain management protocols
• Prior supervision of anesthesia staff or CRNAs
• Proficiency in managing neonatal to adult patient populations

Preferred Education and Experience

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• Completion of an anesthesiology residency program
• At least 2 years of pediatric anesthesia experience in hospital settings

Other Requirements

• Ability to obtain necessary hospital credentials, including fingerprinting and certifications
• Willingness to travel and stay on-site for the duration of the assignment
• Reimbursement for travel expenses, including mileage, rental car, hotel, and flights, as per facility policy
