Required Skills:

• Board Certification or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology
• Valid PA medical license
• ACLS and PALS certifications
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant anesthesia experience
• Proficient in Epic EMR system
• Ability to work flexible daytime shifts (4-5 days per week, 10-hour shifts)
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to handle a broad range of patient ages and complex cases

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with Level I Trauma centers
• Prior exposure to cardiac anesthesiology in a high-volume surgical setting
• Additional certifications or advanced training in cardiac anesthesia

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree
• Prior employment in a hospital with a large bed capacity (preferably 500+ beds)
• Familiarity with diverse surgical procedures, including cardiac, trauma, and high-acuity cases

Other Requirements:

• Current PA license and successful credentialing within 90 days (expedited process available with leadership approval)
• Commitment to maintaining certifications and licensure renewals
• Willingness to work varied shifts as assigned, including full-time coverage (~1 week/month)
