Physician – Anesthesiology – Great Bend, KS opportunity in Kansas

The University of Kansas Health System is seeking a full-time Anesthesiologist to join the team at the Great Bend Campus in Great Bend, KS.

About the position: 

The successful candidate will work alongside one anesthesiologist and two full-time CRNAs in a collaborative, patient-centered environment. Call is shared equitably among the providers and will not exceed a 1:3 ratio, supporting a healthy work-life balance. The operating room schedule runs Monday through Friday, with occasional add-on cases on Saturdays. Surgical cases are diverse and include orthopedics, general surgery, obstetrics and gynecology, ophthalmology, and podiatry. 

The ideal candidate will hold an MD or DO degree or be a foreign-trained physician who is board-certified or board-eligible in anesthesiology by the American Board of Anesthesiology (ABA) or an equivalent certifying body. Strong communication skills, a collaborative approach to care, and a commitment to clinical excellence are essential.
