Olmsted Medical Center (OMC) invites you to join a collaborative and growing Department of Anesthesiology, currently consisting of five anesthesiologists (expanding to six) and an expanding team of CRNAs. OMC is a thriving organization with a 61-bed hospital featuring six operating rooms, two GI suites, and a birth center with a dedicated C-section suite.

Our department provides anesthesia services across a broad range of specialties, including general surgery, orthopedics, gynecology, urology, podiatry, ENT, plastics, ophthalmology, and dental procedures. We also support our attached birth center, which averages approximately 900 deliveries annually.

The practice model is primarily medical direction, with opportunities to manage your own cases while on call and in select situations. Anesthesiologists place and run the labor epidurals. We care for healthy pediatric patients (primarily ENT and dental cases) and provide anesthesia for cardioversions. We do not perform cardiac surgery or neurosurgery.

First call is shared among anesthesiologists and typically involves coverage of the obstetrical unit, with occasional OR cases.

Qualifications:

• BE/BC in Anesthesiology
• Active Minnesota License
• Active DEA
• PALS and ACLS Certification
