This role is ideal for skilled anesthesiologists seeking a short-term assignment combining clinical expertise with teamwork, all while enjoying competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver anesthesia services in hospital operating rooms for a diverse patient population from neonatal to adult.
• Supervise Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) within a collaborative care team model.
• Manage a high volume of surgical cases, averaging 50-60 per day.
• Join a well-established team of 22 anesthesiologists and other OR staff in a dynamic, Level I Trauma Center setting.
• Cover scheduled shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with no call responsibilities.

Required Skills:

• Valid medical license to practice in Ohio.
• Proven experience in pediatric anesthesiology within a hospital setting.
• Ability to supervise CRNAs and work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong clinical and decision-making skills suited to a high-volume surgical environment.
• Proficient in managing neonatal to adult anesthesia cases.

Nice to Have Skills:

• Additional certifications in pediatric anesthesia.
• Experience working in a Level I Trauma Center.
• Bilingual capabilities to assist diverse patient populations.

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Board-certified or board-eligible in Anesthesiology.
• Minimum of two years of post-residency experience in pediatric anesthesia.
• Prior experience in a hospital-based setting, preferably with supervision of CRNAs.

Other Requirements:

• Must provide necessary documentation upon acceptance, including credentials, CV, certifications, and background information.
• Immediate completion of fingerprinting and credentialing procedures.
• Willingness to accept travel reimbursements including mileage, hotel, rental car, and flights as per facility policy.
