Anesthesiologist | Collaborative Team, Modern Facility, No Call opportunity in Gatesville, Texas

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Anesthesiologist to join our team at Coryell Health. The ideal candidate will be responsible for administering anesthesia and perioperative care to patients undergoing surgical procedures.

No Call; No Weekends

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients' medical histories and physical conditions to determine the appropriate anesthetic plan
• Administer general, regional, or local anesthesia
• Monitor patients' vital signs during procedures and adjust anesthesia as needed
• Manage patients' pain levels before, during, and after surgical procedures
• Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
• Respond to emergency situations and provide critical care when necessary
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient safety programs
• Mentor and supervise nurse anesthetists and anesthesiology residents, if applicable
• Stay current with the latest developments in anesthesiology and pain management

 Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• Completion of an accredited anesthesiology residency program
• Board certification or eligibility in Anesthesiology
• Current Texas medical license or ability to obtain one
• DEA and DPS registrations
• BLS and ACLS certifications
